“Upon arriving at De Lampendriessen, I immediately felt at home,” says Ashwin, an international student from India. He was immediately impressed by the cozy atmosphere and the proximity to the university.

"After my classes at the university, I often play table football with friends or relax in the common areas. It’s always nice to unwind with others after a long day of studying." For his studies, he often looks for a quiet place in one of his classmates' rooms to work together on projects and homework. For his groceries, he goes to Albert Heijn or Lidl, which are close by.

Making friends in De Lampendriessen was easy for Ashwin. Through his studies, he met Tejas, a classmate who also lives in the same complex.

He also appreciates the help and support that residents receive from the Plaza staff. “If I have a problem, I can always go to the caretaker,” he says. Although there is a My Plaza app for residents, Ashwin finds the WhatsApp group for residents more convenient. “It's quick and easy to ask questions and get answers.”
