Welcome to Plaza: Your new home

We understand that finding a new place to live can sometimes be a complicated process. As there are often already plenty of other things that need attention. We strive to make your housing search as easy as possible. With a wide range of accommodations and a transparent step-by-step process, we guide you every step of the way – making finding a home hassle-free and efficient.

Booking & availability
  • New places are usually shared on our website 4 weeks before availability. So sign up for automatic notifications (tip alerts) to stay informed about available offers. Or check regularly to see if new spaces are available.
  • It’s not possible to reserve a home or join a waiting list.
  • You can only respond to available rooms via our website.

Application & selection process
  • The system ranks applications based on response time. All applications submitted within the first 10 minutes after a listing goes live enter an automated lottery. This ensures everyone has an equal chance of securing the property.
  • You may apply for several accommodation units at the same time.
  • The status of your application can be followed under My Reactions in your personal dashboard.
Documents & Guarantee Requirements
  • Documents can be uploaded under My Documents, and financial details should be entered under My Income.
  • Proof of income is mandatory. We understand that you (as a student) have no/little income yet, so an income proof from a guarantor (parent, sponsor or another party) is also sufficient.
  • The guarantor's annual income must be at least €40,000, and the monthly income must be at least three times the bare rent.
  • Foreign documents are accepted without translation.
  • Upload all files before applying. We only review them once you're first in line.
